Special Admissions Information
Admissions committees from the two schools individually review applications and provide recommendations to the ASU Graduate College. Recommendations are made independently based on established requirements and criteria for each school.
Entrance to the program is contingent upon the student meeting all normal requirements of the Graduate College, as well as the competitive admissions requirements of the W. P. Carey MBA and the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering MSE in Electrical Engineering program.
Only one application is necessary for both programs, and it must include answers to three essay questions and a current resume. In addition, two letters of reference and official transcripts should be submitted directly to the ASU Graduate College. GMAT scores are required for the MBA application. GRE scores may be accepted. Contact an admissions representative for further details.
Program costs include two years of MBA tuition. The third year of engineering courses is subject to ASU Graduate tuition and fees.
Admissions requirements include at least one year of professional work experience; two year preferred. Undergraduate degrees from ABET-accredited electrical engineering programs require a minimum 3.0 GPA for the last two years of study. Non-ABET electrical engineering degrees require a minimum GPA of 3.5 for the last two years of study or first class with distinction AND a GRE quantitative score above the 90th percentile.
